Bioblitz is a way for people to participate in community science and learn about local biodiversity. For our events, participants use the iNaturalist app to identify and document the different species they encounter in a local park or area near the Guadalupe River or Los Gatos Creek waterway. Bioblitz events are a great way to learn more about the local biodiversity found in San Jose while contributing to science and conservation.
