Persistence and dedication to keeping San Jose’s waterways clean is starting to pay off for volunteers from the South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition.
But preserving the habitats of local creeks as animals like beavers and Chinook salmon return to them is a struggle, according to coalition founder Steve Holmes.
