As a tribute to their efforts three black Shopping Cart Chinook salmon appeared on the creek trail between Bascom and Hamilton Avenues. Blending the carts and fish in works of art seemed fitting after Friends of Los Gatos Creek volunteers pulled 18 shopping carts out of the creek at just one cleanup site.
